Scholarships plus help for families

This unique 501 (C)(3) Nonprofit awards college scholarships to students who have a parent who has fought the battle of cancer sometime during the students 4 years of High School and is still living.  This is need based and the family will be award funds to help with medical bills, etc. along with the scholarship for the student.  This program is a spin off from our other Nonprofit which was established in March of 2006, Athletes Kickin' Cancer, Inc..  You may visit the site for that Nonprofit at www.athleteskickincancer.org.  It is our goal to be able to award one scholarship per state in the United States.  The parents of these students have a major financial challenge paying medical bills which include cancer treatment, medicine, doctors, and more.  Many times insurance is just not enough and they are forced to dip into the college funds of their children and/or have no money to start a fund at all.  If you would like to join us in helping these families, please donate or contact us to volunteer.
